Two
Channel Die Protection Systems
This DPS provides 2 types of detection; namely, static
or dynamic.
a) Static Operation
This mode of operation is meant for detection of Material End, Material
Buckling, etc. Alarm will be generated when the sensor used changed state
from either high to low or vice versa, depending on the setting.
b) Dynamic Operation
In this mode, it can be used to monitor the Mis-Feed of Material and Parts
Ejection. The detection is based on the setting of the number of parts
expected to pass the sensor and the actual counter registered during every
cycle of operation. If the value does not match at the end of the feeding
cycle, the machine will be stopped.
By putting the sensor at an appropriate position, the DPS can also detect
Feeding Accuracy.
